Flower School

The flower school is located at our barn in the Woolley Valley, near Bath and is led by Christiane.

Passion is often asked to share its repertoire of skills with a broader audience and, to this end, its occasional school programme of courses designed to introduce beginners to the broad mix of skills that we draw upon every day has proved to be increasingly popular.

The programme – run from Passion’s workshop in Upper Swainswick just outside of Bath – covers flower arranging, bouquets, the design and making of Christmas wreaths or Easter bunches, and the using of readily available props to enhance these designs.

Spring workshop – 5th May 2012

Our spring workshop on Saturday the 5th May 2012 focuses on the creation of a hand-tied bouquet of fresh, spring flowers and foliages which will then be taken home by the students to enjoy. The class is a great introduction to a key technique within floristry and focuses on the skills needed to create beautiful and versatile handtied bunches which can be used to decorate the home within a myriad of vases or given as gifts to friends and family.

The workshop begins at 10 o clock and ends at half past 1; it includes a light lunch and refreshments.

£85.00 each includes flowers and foliages, materials and lunch. Limited places available

If you would like more information on Passion’s Flower School programme, or would like us to design a bespoke tutorial for you (and a group of your own friends) just give us a call or email us and we will be more than happy to tailor a workshop to fit your needs.

Overall, our desire is to share our own philosophy with similarly creative and passionate individuals who simply don’t have the access to our own day-to-day involvement in the industry, but who would like to be able to make their own fabulous flower arrangements themselves.
